I just bought one form the Scooter Net Store on the web. They ship right to your door and they are dirt cheap. I would recomend these scooters to anyone!

5th March 2009 - had a ride today on the bike - I am still smiling. It was seriously great fun to ride. I have been a biker for many years, it does not replace grunt and noise which as bikers we love, but to commute in cities, or local to and back its a blast. Mike in Malta….safe riding and go and try the bike its a blast…

I got one last weekend. A real blast to drive. I wish that Texas had the $1,500 rebate program that California has but hey, ya just can’t have everything.
A full charge is less than $1 at my current rate of 16.1 cents/kwh. Control is smoooooth and power is good. I also have a Honda Valkyrie for long trips. But this thing is just plain fun to drive.

40 miles on a charge (2-4 hours on a charge). This might be perfect for someone drivng to the store and back, but anyone thinking of a long commute and on the freeway forget it. These guys need to still do thier homework as the owner mentioned.

I have had my Vectrix about 1 month. 1,100 miles so far on it. It is incredible to ride. 35 cents to recharge from empty. I am getting about 40 miles per charge. 63 mph is the top speed so it is highway legal.

Nice update! The price is looking better and better. It looks like this bike might just scale to a more reasonable cost. Do use a favor and post an update in a few months, after you’ve put the Vectrix through the motions.

They rediced the price since this video was made. A Vectrix can be bought now for $8700. I just test drove one and bought a Vectrix.

$12K is a non-starter for me. When they get this around $7k I’ll get really interested.
July 22nd, 2009 at 9:16 am
i think there more around 8-9k now.

we pollute our planet way more with Methane Gas produced by Cows/Cow manure. So if people really want to make a difference, they should stop eating beef.
July 24th, 2009 at 11:47 am
That is the point! this is not gas! This is electric! So it is safe for our planet!
