Anyone know if it has a DC or AC motor and of how many watts?

  2. SuperEpicX Says:

Dirt cheap? The Vectrix I saw were 11K.

  3. locker627 Says:

on average, 100 people choke on ball point pens a year.

I just bought one form the Scooter Net Store on the web. They ship right to your door and they are dirt cheap. I would recomend these scooters to anyone!

5th March 2009 - had a ride today on the bike - I am still smiling. It was seriously great fun to ride. I have been a biker for many years, it does not replace grunt and noise which as bikers we love, but to commute in cities, or local to and back its a blast. Mike in Malta….safe riding and go and try the bike its a blast…

  6. justicejouett Says:

    that bike is freaking huge

  7. retrodog63 Says:

I got one last weekend. A real blast to drive. I wish that Texas had the $1,500 rebate program that California has but hey, ya just can’t have everything.

A full charge is less than $1 at my current rate of 16.1 cents/kwh. Control is smoooooth and power is good. I also have a Honda Valkyrie for long trips. But this thing is just plain fun to drive.

  10. vespaet4 Says:

40 miles on a charge (2-4 hours on a charge). This might be perfect for someone drivng to the store and back, but anyone thinking of a long commute and on the freeway forget it. These guys need to still do thier homework as the owner mentioned.

  11. Hundera Says:

    Of course! Class M. Duh.

  12. 2ndfloormanager Says:

There is an accessory socket in the glove box in the fairing that prvides 12V at 0.5A.

  13. hayabusafmw Says:

  14. arclite01 Says:

What about plugging in and powering up mobile phones, GPS boxes etc?

  15. VectrixRider Says:

I have had my Vectrix about 1 month. 1,100 miles so far on it. It is incredible to ride. 35 cents to recharge from empty. I am getting about 40 miles per charge. 63 mph is the top speed so it is highway legal.

  16. christopherharley Says:

Nice update! The price is looking better and better. It looks like this bike might just scale to a more reasonable cost. Do use a favor and post an update in a few months, after you’ve put the Vectrix through the motions.

  17. razrlazr Says:

They rediced the price since this video was made. A Vectrix can be bought now for $8700. I just test drove one and bought a Vectrix.

  18. christopherharley Says:

$12K is a non-starter for me. When they get this around $7k I’ll get really interested.

  19. TehChaps Says:

i think there more around 8-9k now.

  20. k9forkids Says:

we pollute our planet way more with Methane Gas produced by Cows/Cow manure. So if people really want to make a difference, they should stop eating beef.

  21. kubamamnaimie Says:

That is the point! this is not gas! This is electric! So it is safe for our planet!

  22. k9forkids Says:

$12 grand?I was thinking about getting a suzuki burgman 400, it goes 90+mph gets 65mpg and cost
$5800.00 you can buy allot of gas for 6 grand.

  23. signsoflife7 Says:

    Go to the Vectrix website.

  24. edcastrovalley Says:
